Register your complaint online. You'll receive a complaint reference number. Insurers are mandated to respond within 15 working days.
If unresolved after 30 days, escalate to the Insurance Ombudsman in your region. The process is free, and decisions are binding on the insurer for claims up to ₹50 lakhs.
